About Dr. Prasad
Dr. Prasad is a Radiation Oncologist who specializes in brain tumors, head and neck cancer, image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS).
He has been a Radiation Oncologist for 15 years. Dr. Prasad did a tour of the United States during his educational journey. He was raised in New Jersey where he completed his secondary and undergraduate education. He then obtained a combined MD/PhD degree at the University of Alabama. His research focused on experimental therapeutics for brain tumors. Finally, he made his way to California where he completed a residency in Radiation Oncology at UCSF. He works for Epic Care which is a physician-owned, multi-specialty group providing care in the Bay Area. His practice is in Walnut Creek and his website is epiccarecyberknife.com. He has a particular interest in bringing cutting edge technological developments in cancer to the community.
Dr. Prasad is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology/Radiation Oncology. He’s affiliated with Concord Medical Center and Walnut Creek Medical Center.
