Dr. Paul Marcille, Ph.D.

About Doctor Marcille

Dr. Marcille and his colleagues work with young people and adults and have a specialty working with adolescents in middle school, high school, college and with early career professionals. We have a particular expertise working with young people struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, academic difficulties, social challenges, family issues and those making educational and career choices. We also work with adults who are dealing with personal and career transitions. With over 30 years of experience working as a professor and academic administrator, as well as a clinical psychologist in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Dr. Marcille has a unique set of psychological and educational knowledge and managerial skills that he uses to help clients.

Our approach to therapy is to establish a supportive working relationship with each client and then to provide them with the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals. Therapy tends to be short-term, and problem-focused using an evidence based, “cognitive behavioral” approach that helps clients understand their thinking and emotional processes and teaches them to change those behaviors that are causing them difficulties.
